SOAC

We make sure to follow the Scottish Outdoor Access Code (SOAC) for best practice on how to treat nature and others in the outdoors.

We also make sure to respect and adhere to any additional requests or requirement given to us by the owners of the land we work on.

Woodland Management
We work alongside land owners to write up and implement a three year woodland management plan for every site we use.

Both staff and learners take part in making sure we leave every greenspace we visit better than we found it.
Kit
We source our kit second hand where possible

Our kit is hard wearing and durable, insuring it's long lasting.

When we do buy, we make sure to use locally sources materials and to support our local shops and community
Waist
We strive to be as zero waste organisation as we can.

We also work hard to make sure our organisation is plastic free.

We repair what we can and recycle what we can't

All our organic materials gets fed to our worms to be composted.
